From Small Beginnings to Global Reach

Frank’s journey began in the 1990s as the owner of a small retail gift shop in the San Francisco Bay Area. During a trip to his hometown of Shenyang, China, he discovered the beauty of hand-carved serpentine and jade artwork created by local artisans. What started as a few carvings for his shop soon blossomed into a deep appreciation for natural stone art and an international import business.

By 2001, Frank was exhibiting at both the Tucson and Denver Gem & Mineral Showcases, offering finely crafted carvings and stone products from China. Over time, JK Stone expanded its sourcing network to include mines and artisans from China, Madagascar, Brazil, and Morocco—bringing a vast array of polished products, mineral specimens, and metaphysical items to the wholesale market.

In 2014, Frank relocated his operations to Denver and Tucson, establishing warehouse facilities that now anchor his business. Today, JK Stone USA operates a showroom in Lakewood, Colorado, and wholesale warehouses in Denver and Tucson, serving customers year-round.

Frank is not only a trusted importer but also the promoter of two official gem and mineral shows: the JK Stone Denver Warehouse Show and the JK Stone Tucson Warehouse Show.
